Diesel Psalm

The band

Illustration of Wade Harlan singing into a vintage mic, flannel shirt, tattooed arms.

Wade Harlan

Vocals

Drives a battered green sedan and doesn't say where he's headed. Sings like the road owes him money.

Illustration of Remy Delacroix, hair over his eyes, playing a worn red guitar.

Remy Delacroix

Lead guitar

Says nothing. You'll never see his eyes. The guitar does his talking, and it doesn't stop.

Illustration of Otis Crane, bald and bearded, grinning over a black bass.

Otis Crane

Bass and backing vocals

Oldest in the band and the only one who smiles. His harmonies hold Wade up when the song gets heavy.

Illustration of Caleb Rourke mid-swing behind the drums, red bandana on his wrist.

Caleb “Kid” Rourke

Drums

Youngest in the van. Hits like he's got something to prove, because he has.

On the record

  • Odile Delacroix, fiddle
  • “Deacon” Earl Mayhew, organ
